Mesopotamian Academic Press
In 2021, we set out to build an academic publisher from the ground up in Iraq — a region underrepresented in global scholarly output. We handled everything: journal identity, OJS deployment, editorial workflows, reviewer networks, ISSN registration, DOI integration, and a strategic indexing roadmap. Four years later, the results exceeded every benchmark.

Two years after Mesopotamian, we launched Peninsula Publishing in Dubai — proving the model was repeatable, scalable, and built for impact. In just two years, Peninsula achieved a higher average citation rate than publishers operating for a decade, with near-zero self-citation and 100% open access across all journals.
